How a 3-Day Tour From Las Vegas Works

Choose camping or a hotel, check what the park fees cost you, and pack for three climates.

  1. Camping or a Hotel

The Bindlestiff tour comes in a camping version and a 3-star hotel version; the route and the vehicle are the same. Breakfasts are included only when camping.

  2. Check the Park Fees

National park entry is included for US residents. Visitors from outside the US pay an extra non-resident fee set by the government, which is not in the tour price.

  3. Ride Out From Las Vegas

Day one: Zion and Bryce. Day two: Lake Powell, optional Antelope Canyon, and Monument Valley, where the camping version sleeps on the rim. Day three: sunrise, the Grand Canyon, and back to Las Vegas.

  4. Pack for Three Climates

Hot desert, cool high plateaus and cold sunrises in one trip. Bring layers, a hat, sunscreen and a towel if you camp.

The Guide

Can You See Monument Valley in a Day From Las Vegas?

Not comfortably: it is six hours or more each way. Here is what the multi-day tours actually include.

Las Vegas to Monument Valley is six hours or more by road each way, so the tours from Las Vegas are three-day trips that take in Zion, Bryce Canyon and the Grand Canyon as well. The most reviewed on GetYourGuide is Las Vegas: Grand Canyon, Zion and Monument Valley 3-Day Tour by Bindlestiff Tours, rated 4.8 out of 5 from 286 reviews and from $875 a person (checked October 2026). Its Monument Valley morning includes the sunrise and a 1.5-hour Navajo-guided jeep tour, which is the part of the valley you cannot do from a tour bus.

The groups average 13 guests. You choose camping under the stars or a 3-star hotel, and the reviews say the choice changes where you sleep, not what you see: one guest noted that “everyone ends up in the same vehicle to go to the activities”. Three sandwich lunches are included, breakfasts only on the camping version, and evening meals are on you.

What is included, and what is not

The three tours that stop in Monument Valley differ most in what the price covers:

TourFromMonument ValleyNot included
Grand Canyon, Zion and Monument Valley 3-Day Tour$875Sunrise and a 1.5-hour Navajo-guided jeep tourEvening meals, non-US resident park fees, optional Antelope Canyon ($90-125) and Grand Canyon helicopter
Premium 3-Day Zion, Grand Canyon, Monument Valley$735Navajo-guided 4x4 jeep tourNon-US resident park fees
3-Day Ultimate Southwest Bucket List Tour$650The valley, with the Navajo tour as an add-on ($75)The Navajo tour, Lower Antelope Canyon ($87), non-resident park pass

Per person, as listed on GetYourGuide in October 2026.

The premium version swaps camping for two hotel nights near Lake Powell with breakfast. The bucket-list tour adds Lower Antelope Canyon and includes more meals, but leaves the Monument Valley Navajo tour and the canyon entry as extras, so its lower headline price narrows once those are added.

The fee that catches overseas visitors

National park entry is included for US residents on the first two tours. Since 2026, visitors from outside the US pay extra at national parks: the bucket-list tour’s listing puts it as a $250 non-resident annual pass for anyone 16 or older, which covers the passholder and up to three more adults. That applies to Zion, Bryce and the Grand Canyon. It does not apply to Monument Valley, which is a Navajo tribal park with its own $10 entry and does not accept national park passes.

Driving yourself instead

With a car, Monument Valley is a long day’s drive from Las Vegas but a short one from Page (about two hours) or the Grand Canyon’s South Rim (about three). Most independent travellers stay a night at the valley and book a local Navajo-guided tour, from 1.5 hours to the full day with Mystery Valley. On the way in from the north you pass Forrest Gump Point on US-163.

What 3-Day Tour Guests Say

4.8/5 from 286 verified guests

"Nothing to complain about regarding the tour itself. My only regret is that staying at the campsite offers no added value compared to the hotel option, since everyone ends up in the same vehicle to go to the activities, contrary to what the description suggests about the timing of the sunrise and sunset on site. If I had known, I would have chosen the hotel option for greater comfort."

Régis France

"Amazing activity. I really enjoyed the tours and the view! It was the real camp! Racheli was fantastic. Her driving of the van was perfect, and the information she provided during the tour was great. She really LIVES for being in the park. She LIVES what she does for a living and does everything to the highest degree of perfection. She was patient with something that unfortunately happened to me and waited for me. She's simply amazing. As for the activities, unfortunately we only had a short time in Zion due to the logistics of the park. You can still enjoy it a lot, though. Bryce was amazing. The BBQ option was very good. Amazing. The camp at Bryce is in Monument Valley... amazing."

Ademilson Brazil

"Our guide Aurora Flores was easily one of the best guides I have ever had. Not only was she very knowledgable about the places we visited, but she also did her best to accommodate everyone's wishes and was really flexible with the sights we visited. She also showed us some extra intresting places not iriginally included in the program. What is more, she helped me set up my tent (she set it up actually), and prepared great food for us. Higly recommend her!"
